Washington D.C.
During a long deserved vacation, I decided to make a stop at Washington D.C. to see our national capital for the first time. It had been a whirlwind tour of about eight hours where I walked around with my camera bag hanging off one shoulder and my duffel bag full of clothes hanging off my other shoulder. I walked mainly around the Mall where I realized one thing, you can't see the Smithsonian Museums in one day! The Smithsonian is actually ten very large museums. So I just walked around and saw the Capital Building, the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, and Arlington Cemetery. Heck, I even ate lunch at the Watergate Hotel! I was thoroughly impressed with the entire city and can't wait until I get another chance to go back!
