Pompeii
I had taken a trip to Europe and while I was spending a week in Naples Italy I took a day trip to Pompeii. That place was absolutely spectacular! When I was are there in person I realized that the place is just huge. I spent a little over five hours walking around the place and I still only just grazed the surface of what's there. It would take at least a couple of days to see everything. I've always been a fan of Roman history. Yet, when I was actually standing there in a real Roman site, smelling the air, and feeling the old structures, I realize that the books and videos do no justice to the real place. So here are some of the photos I took of the place.
