New Orleans
On my vacation I took a trip to New Orleans, where I was treated to some great southern hospitality. There where two sides to this town that I enjoyed, all the old architecture and Bourbon street. During the day time, I amused myself with walking around the French Quarter, then later in the afternoon I hopped onto a steamboat cruise down the mighty Mississippi river. I then went on a quick trolley ride to the main cemeteries at the edge of the city. The cemeteries definitely can be called the city of the dead because of all the above ground burials. Later on in the evening after a great Cajun dinner I strolled Bourbon street enjoying bar after bar featuring live bands with a plastic glass full of beer in my hand. All in all I quite enjoyed my time there and wished I could spend more time in New Orleans.
