Lyman School for Boys
I was not expecting to find this place. Heck, it had taken me a while to figure out it's name. However, when I did learn the name I learned that it had been a state reform school for boys. It was built back in the 1860's as a place to send wayward boys to receive training. From what I understand, this school lasted until the 1970's when it was dismantled and later the whole property was sold off. Now various businesses, including a branch from MIT, reside on the campus with only a scant few buildings left over as a reminder of what was there before.
