Fort Trumble
I was bored one day in New London when I saw signs to Fort Trumble State Park. With nothing else better to do I drove over to the fort and took a long leisurely walk around the place, snapping a picture or two on the way. The place is great with its star pattern architecture. Plus, with the nautical feel of New London on this side and Groton on the other, I got a good feel of how the place must have felt when the fort was in full swing.
