Fairfield Hills State Hospital
I had decided to take a trip over to Newtown CT to see the Fairfield Hills State Hospital. I have been to a couple other hospitals before this and expected the usual scene of abandonment. Here it was quiet different. I found the large expanses of lawn being used as little league playing fields, while all sorts of people were walking around the campus like it was a park. Heck, while I was there I ran into a person who summed Fairfield Hills State Hospital as an "abandoned loony bin!" All in all, it was a nice day and beautiful campus that will most likely be reused as various town and state buildings for the area.
